Any fans out there who play video games as well as tabletop games? I've played some of the D&D franchise games over the years, Baldurs Gate seems to be the best depiction. Don't think highley of either of the D&D MMOS. The fist attempt is quite cool I guess but the population is so low now it doesn't feel multiplayer anymore and I'm not feeling Eberron if I'm honest. Neverwinter has potential but I have trouble with disconnections, they don't have a European server apparently.

I played some Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 back in the day. I've tried Neverwinter and enjoyed it, but I just don't have the time to devote to really getting invested in it (I did use it to create my avatar for Ulfgar here, though). I enjoy lots of other video games, too, like the Zelda franchise, but again, I just don't have a lot of time to play them except over the summer.

Yeah I hear ya on the whole time thing. I go through phases of being able to play video games though, I have the original Neverwinter Nights but haven't had a chance to properly play it yet. Zelda Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64 was fantastic. Also loved Links Awakening on the Gameboy.

Ocorina of time is my 2d favorite video game, after Final Fantasy X and before The Last of Us.
Recently I haven't been playing video games, too much other stuff to attend to, but I am downloading LOTRO right now lol.
I like TES ganes too.

Ooh, yes, how could I have forgotten about the Elder Scrolls? I've been playing them since Morrowind. I was in the beta for ESO, but didn't want to cough up to buy the game and a subscription. Might look into it now that the subscription is gone. Of course, I should probably try to finish Skyward Sword before I buy more long-term games.

I have Oblivion for my 360 but I haven't played much of it yet. You ever play Fallout 3 by the same company? It's one of the most immersive games I've played in years. Played LOTRO for a bit a few years back but most MMOS just feel grindy to me very quickly. Rift is a good one but again, got bored super fast.

Who's Boone? heh heh. I'm about 20 hours in, been following the project purity quests through. At times the game is solid. I have the original on the pc as well, it's quite slow paced so required patience to play but it's got a very strong atmosphere.

Never did try any of the Fallout series, but I have heard good things about Fallout 3. Maybe one day when I'm retired and they've remade it a few times to update the graphics, I'll finally get a chance to play it.

Haha seems we all have that one thing in common, no time to play games! Hence the pbp games I guess

Yep. I used to play live games in college (like, with actual people in the same room), then between lots of moves and priorities changing, we Skpyed for a while and then eventually stopped altogether right as we dinged 11th level sometime in 2011-2012. The party emerged from the Pyramid of Shadows, discovered they were actually in the Feywild, and somehow one of the former PCs (my character before I began DMing the campaign because we quit playing with the original DM because he was a stubborn, antagonizing jerk) was running up to them on our half-orc ranger's rage drake mount that had been left behind when they entered the pyramid. Oh, and the former PC (a tiefling rogue who had a budding bro-mance with the ranger) seemed several years older than he did just a few weeks ago when the party last saw him on the material plane.
That was my last D&D fix until I found TangledWeb last August.

Neverwinter nights is probably the best dnd video game I've found, my biggest problem with gaming recently is that I've got too damn many, I can't ever finish any cause I just get too distracted.

Love to play D&D computer game, but for unknown reason I never finished one. Played all the game mentioned above and loved Neverwinter Nights the most. There is a new Sword of the Coast from come Wizard and looks pretty good. And I heard that Pillar of Eternity is nice too.
Also a big fan of LoL

I start a lot of games but never finish one. I've put a lot of time in WoW tBC and WotLK, but that got boring. (Jeej, lets raid ICC AGAIN -.-) Still waiting on corecraft for some old skool tBC fun. Now I just play some Hearthstone and some LoL. (I prefer Twisted Treeline over the other gamemodes.)
